2024 Party for Adventuress - Everett at Sea Program Feature
This impactful short video was produced by MigranTV and shares the life-changing experience that a 6-day overnight program aboard Adventuress had on a group of young people from the Casino Road neighborhood of Everett, Washington. The Everett at Sea program is in partnership with Connect Casino Road and was funded by the Washington State No Child Left Inside Grant Program. Get an up-close look at one of the nation’s top maritime training programs – The Seattle Maritime Academy Located by the Ballard Bridge, Seattle Maritime Academy offers two affordable US Coast Guard-approved certificate programs that prepare you for a career in commercial and passenger transportation, commercial fishing, deep-sea sailing and the workboat industry. Programs begin in the fall and comprise three 11-week quarters followed by an at-sea internship.

Meet Michael E., SAFE Boats
Washington Maritime Careers is presented by the NW Center of Excellence for Marine Manufacturing & Technology. The Center, which is part of Skagit Valley College, focuses on strengthening the connections between education and the industry to meet the technical workforce needs of the Washington State maritime industry. Michael started his career in HVAC, then moved to Washington and saw SAFE boats following the Washington State Ferries, which inspired him to apply. He loves working in the shop, wiring boats, and training fellow workers. Now he specializes in fiber optics as an integration lead.
Meet Ryan E., SAFE Boats

Ryan is a welder/fabricator at SAFE Boats International. As a work lead, he ensures work continues on schedule and solves issues as they arrive. He discusses his education journey and how he became successful in the maritime industry.
