We work actively with industry partners, standards organizations, industry associations, education, and labor in the development of professional development for the marine industry, faculty, and students.

Previous Professional Development Offerings
Corrosion workshops
This series of workshops served 34 welding faculty from the community and technical college system.
Derema Group workshops
These professional development activities serve an average of 20 industry members in addition to faculty and program students. They cover battery systems, coatings, steering, and other onboard systems.
American Boat & Yacht Council certifications
Every year, an average of 27 attendees attend three-day certification intensives for marine industry members.
National Marine Manufacturers Association certifications
These one- and two-day certification intensives serve an average of 25 attendees from the marine industry per year.
