Maritime Discovery Schools, Port Townsend Schools
Working with teachers, parents, and area business and non-profit partners, Port Townsend Schools have a 5-year plan to implement a central Maritime Framework throughout K-12 education and anchor all subjects and grade levels in experiences of our maritime community.
We call this effort the Maritime Discovery Schools initiative.

Maritime High School, Highline Schools
Maritime High School is a new, small high school that opened in September 2021 with its first 9th-grade class. Maritime is a collaborative project of Highline Public Schools, Northwest Maritime Center, Port of Seattle, and the Duwamish River Community Coalition, with many community and industry partners engaged to support our students.

The Seattle Skills Center is committed to delivering advanced career and technical education for high school juniors and seniors. Courses offer high school credit, industry recognized certification, advanced learning, and college credit.

West Sound Tech is a ten school district educational cooperative serving students in the Bremerton, Central Kitsap, Chimacum, North Kitsap, North Mason, Peninsula, Quilcene, Bainbridge Island, South Kitsap and Port Townsend School Districts providing advanced career and technical programming preparing students for career and college.
