Two-day training opportunity is for people with little or no experience in commercial fishing.  The course will introduce a number of skills, including welding for quick fixes, fiber glass repairs, engine trouble shooting, net mending, and knot tying. Participants will also have the opportunity to get out on a boat and learn some navigation skills. The course is meant to give folks some basic familiarity with the types of skills used in commercial fishing and introduce them to this critical sector of the maritime industry.  Limited to 24 participants.
